I wish to support people in remaining in their own home as long as possible. Being a CNA, enables me to provide this service and help people live the remainder of their lives with dignity.

An employer should hire me because I am dependable, empathetic, and sensitive to peoples' needs. I have also had experience as a Medical Assistant where I was responsible for patient intake, patient education, phlebotomy, immunizations, breathing treatments, vital signs, charting, triage, and setting up surgical trays for outpatient procedures. I assisted in the care of my mother who had advanced dementia and also in the care of my mother-in-law who had suffered a stroke and was incontinent. I have computer and keyboarding skills which would allow me to enter data in electronic charting.
