Why I Want To Be A Caregiver

I have been working for the last 20 yrs as a care provider for medically fragile foster children, I have experience in g tubes J tubes, cuffed and uncuffed tracheostomy tubes, ventilators, administering oxygen and medication, including insulin. I have worked with mars, and I create my own tracking sheets for my daughters, blood glucose and insulin injections. I worked briefly as a CNA in 2005, for Ty Cobb Healthcare in Comer Ga, where I was certified, but never renewed my certification. I worked for Ga Mentor as a care provider until 2015 when the young man I had fostered since 2000, aged out of DFCS, I then became his legal guardian. in 2012, I was accepted into the LPN program at Athens Tech, I had to withdraw within 6 months of being able to take my license exam, due to a loss of support that enabled me to do the clinical training, during my time with Mentor, I maintained CPR/FA and crisis prevention and intervention training, I currently am not certified, but that can be achieved, as well as a TB test, I would be up for taking your PCA test, if that would expedite things

Why You Should Hire Me

I have been a care giver for the last 20 yrs, I have worked with the elderly and mentally ill. currently I work with fragile children, I fostered a young man for the last 19 years, who had a trach and j tube, and I have adopted a fragile little girl, that is trach/ vent and feeding tube, with type 1 diabetes. unfortunately we lost my boy, after 19 yrs due to complications of his cerebral palsy this last september. as you can see, I tend to stick with what I commit to. I dont like not finishing what I start, and if you hire me. you will be taking on someone with a vast pool of practical experience, I also like to find the most practical and efficient way of doing things. and not afraid of instruction,
