I am a caring, nurturing person who loves meeting new people young and old and I have always wanted a career in the healthcare field. I am accountable, reliable, trustworthy, and I am willing be the one that the patient depends on and can hopefully grow to have a relationship with.
I am currently starting school at Wiregrass Technical College here in Valdosta, GA in January 2015 for the LPN program and will bridge to my RN from there. My first five classes will be online so they will not interfere with me working. I have a strong attention to detail. I am the one who remembers that your kids are coming in for the holidays the week before Christmas that Sunday or that your favorite flower is a yellow rose, even though I have only met you once. I have my BLS for Healthcare Provider and my First Aid/CPR certifications. I can accept responsibility and account for my actions. I can work unsupervised and get the things done that need attention. Assisting with bathing, dressing, toileting, and other aspects of ADL does not bother me. Just because a person cant do what they used to, doesn't mean they stopped being a human being. That mentality is a strong part of my work ethic and will continue to be for as long as I am a part of the workforce.
