Job Description

At Aaron Home Care, we recognize our caregivers as our greatest asset. We would like to invite responsible, reliable, compassionate, and skilled caregivers to join our working family.
We provide in-home, non-medical care , meaning we serve clients in the comfort their own home. We service the area from San Ysidro/Chula Vista to Solana Beach but would never force you to take a shift that was farther than you would prefer to travel. 
Some services you may be asked to provide:
  • Personal care, errands, transportation, meal prep, medication reminders, companionship, respite care, light housekeeping, dressing, bathing, transferring, eating, toileting/continence care

Job Requirements

We need registered Home Care Aides who are experienced and ready to work. Please have all paperwork ready to go, including HCA clearance and negative TB Test. 

We have and regularly take on clients with different needs, from companion care to hospice care. The basic skills you should possess:

  • Basic lifting and transferring practices
  • How to use a gait belt
  • How to give a bed bath and assist with a shower
  • How to change an adult diaper from a sitting position or from a laying position
  • Basic cooking skills
  • Basic house cleaning skills
  • Basic hygiene and infection prevention knowledge

The initial requirements required by the state of California:

  • HCA Registration & Clearance see
  • Livescan Fingerprint Clearance
  • Very recent negative TB Test
  • Ongoing compliance with all initial and annual training requirements

Additional Agency Requirements

  • Have compassion and empathy
  • Be reliable, prompt and clear with communication with staff
  • 1 Year experience, or trained as CNA
  • Be flexible, courteous and cooperative
