Job Description

A Miracle Homecare Currently looking to fill HHA positions in Cincinnati, Ohio . Flexible schedules, potential for bonus, and the sense of fulfillment as you are helping people in need. Start your new career with no experience needed - attend approved personal care training program.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Duties include one or all of the following tasks as assigned by the Nurse Supervisor:

Personal Hygiene and Care;
Reading and recording temperature, pulse and respiration;
Mobility;
Elimination/toileting/incontinent care;
Nutrition/ Meal Assistance;
House cleaning, including dusting furniture, sweeping, vacuuming and washing floors; kitchen care, including dishes, appliances and counters; bathroom care; emptying and cleaning bedside commode; changing bed linens; washing inside windows within reach.;
Laundry including ironing (only client’s personal laundry);
Accompany clients to appointments (not transport) and ensure safe return home;
Shopping Assistance;
Reality orientation and sensory stimulation;
Hoyer lift;
Verbal medication reminder;
Practice standard precaution/infection control to prevent cross contamination.
Other Duties as assigned such as Responsibilities as described in the Emergency Operations
QUALIFICATIONS :

Salary: $11.00 to $14.00 /hour

Job Requirements

Must be 18 years old AND meet one of the required training criteria.
Pass BCII/FBI (FBI when applicable) background checks and database checks.
Valid Driver License or ID and reliable transportation.
Able to understand the written task sheet, execute instructions, and document services delivered.
Compassionate attitude toward the care of the sick and mature.
The ability to deal effectively with the demands of the job.
Able to communicate with clients/families and emergency service systems personnel.
Attend a in-person/classroom training prior to client contact. Pass the Provider’s written competency or oral test with a minimum score of 70%; and successfully complete skills testing by return demonstration.
Attendance to the clients must be 90%+.
