Night Time Floater - Certified Nursing Assistant/Caregiver - Part-Time

Home Health Companions serves:  Dallas, Collin, Denton, Ellis, Hill, Hunt, Johnson, Kaufman, Parker, Rockwall, Tarrant, and Wise Counties in Texas.

• Night time Floater- Shift starts anytime from 3:00pm to 11:00pm 7 days a week.
• This position will guarantee 40 hours of pay per week regardless of hours worked, and will not be scheduled more than 12 hours in a 24-hour period, and will have two (2) days off a week. 
• Paid Overtime.
• We provide a generous mileage reimbursement program. Driving no more than 40 miles to work
• The work schedule and open availability are non-traditional and non-negotiable. 
• Occasionally, the level of care or the number of hours per visit will need to be adjusted for our VIP Clients. Most of our clients are aging adults requiring around the clock geriatric care. Our compassionate home health companions, caregivers and nurses deliver health and daily living services 24-hours a day, seven days a week.
• If we schedule you for a shift during these days and times, you will be expected to be available and accept the shift to maintain your full-time employment status and the 40 hours of pay guarantee.

Job Requirements

• The successful caregiver must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• VIP level customer service, problem-solving skills, and relationship building skills are paramount to our success as a “Best of Home Care Employer of Choice” organization. 
• You must have a smartphone that accepts text messages and a valid email address. 
• Minimum High School Diploma or the equivalent required. 
• Graduates of an accredited Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or related healthcare program preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Medical Assistant (MA), LVN Students and new grads are encouraged to apply!
• Experience working in a home health setting with minimal supervision a plus.
• Experience caring for dementia, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, and hospice patients a plus.
• You must have a valid Texas driver license and current insurance.
• You must pass a Background check and show proof of a current TB screen and a negative COVID 19 test.
