Westwood Post-Acute Skilled Nursing and Sub-Acute Center invites you to join our team! Certified Nursing Assistants help patients with direct health care needs and provide each of their assigned patients with routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the patient's assessment and care plan, and as may be directed by the supervisors, while also helping with the many physical and complex tasks for patient care. 

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Turning or moving patients, Gathering medical supplies, Bathing patients, Grooming patients by brushing their hair, teeth, shaving them, etc., Feeding patients and documenting their food and liquid intake, Checking vital signs such as blood pressure and heart rate, and report any changes to the nurses, Answering patient calls, Documenting information (ADLs/Charting), Cleaning rooms and bed linens, Stocking supplies, Assisting with some medical and safety procedures, Transporting patients, Taking care of wounds.

The incumbent shall meet and fulfill all applicable requirements as outlined in California Code of Regulation Title 22: Social Security, Division 5: Health Facilities, as well as the Health and Safety Code for the State of California.


Job Requirements

New graduates are welcome to apply! Certified Nursing Assistants with more than 1 year of experience in the Long-Term Residential Unit and Sub-Acute is preferred. 

Must be a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant within the state of California.

Must successfully pass background check, drug screen and physical.

Valid CPR card
