We Staff Healthcare LLC is a fast-growing staffing solutions agency (www.westaffhc.com). We hire candidates for the medical sector. Currently, we are looking for a skilled and hard-working Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team on either a Full-Time or Part-Time basis.
The responsible CNA will be responsible but not limited to:
Job Description:
- Assist residents to carry out rehabilitation treatments, which may include: ambulation, range of motion exercises, eating, shower/ bathing, meaningful ADL tasks.
- Maintain daily record of all Residents treated. Report progress made and maintain records, as required.
- Converse with the Rehabilitation Supervisor every thirty days to review all resident's on the program.
- Provide pressure reduction equipment as needed.
- Inspection of ambulation assistive devices for residents on the program for cleanliness and state of repair.
- Assist Nurse Aides in the proper application of splints, braces, and other ADL equipment.
- Observe residents in units and intervene for proper positioning, proper use of adaptive and protective equipment. Including restraints, as directed by the Nurse Manager.
- Follow procedures outlined for the position in the home's fire and safety plan and participate in "Mock" fire drills as scheduled.
- Perform related duties as required and unrelated duties in emergencies if needed.
- Maintain confidentiality of resident’s records at all times.
- Well-groomed and dressed according to uniform regulations.
- Excellent social skills.
- Ability to handle exposed infections, odors, behavioral changes, and reactions from some patients.
- Ability to contact RNs, LPNs, NA's Resident's. Families, MDs, and all Ancillary Departments.
