HOUSE MANAGER

BONUS INFORMATION:

$5000.00 Sign on Bonus paid out quarterly!

QUALIFICATIONS:

House managers shall meet the following conditions: Must be 18 years of age. Have a valid High School Diploma or G.E.D.. Supervisory experience, preferably as a group home or program manager. Physically able to maintain order on a unit at all times and demonstrate the ability to act appropriately and quickly in crisis situations. Presents a clean, appropriate appearance. Capable of following Individual Service Plans (ISP) for members. Demonstrates strong boundaries and shows a concern and caring for members living in Ability 1st supported living homes. Good written and effective verbal communication skills. A valid New Mexico driver’s license and a clean driving record. An annual vehicle safety inspection. Must have fingerprinting, First Aid/CPR and Criminal History completed prior to employment. Maintain current First Aid, CPR, and Handle with Care certification. Must meet all agency’s contractor and licensing agent training requirements for agency personnel. Must be able to work in a culturally diverse environment.

Continued employment contingent upon satisfactory supervisor’s evaluation, meeting continuing education requirements, and maintaining a satisfactory driving record.

Responsible to: Supported Living Service Coordinator, and Administrator

GENERAL ROLE FUNCTIONS:

Schedules staff and provides unit coverage as indicated by ratio requirements and member needs. Schedules and coordinates daily operation pertaining to members and staff. Implements and monitors daily group home schedules. Functions as a role model, adhering to agency standards of practice, for members, staff, and the public. Accurately documents each member’s behavior, sleep pattern, interaction, and provides a professional approach during daily routine. (Crossover Book/Progress Notes)
