A Day in the Life of a Meadows of Napa Valley CNA: As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at The Meadows of Napa Valley, you will be providing direct care and managing the activities of daily living for a number of our residents in our 69-bed skilled nursing facility. Because we are a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC), a large portion of our residents are comprised of residents from our Independent Living, Assisted Living or Memory Support Center; gifting us the opportunity to care for our own throughout their care needs. Safety and excellence of care are our top priorities when it comes to residents, so you can expect weekly training and staffing the floor according to both census and patient acuity.

Daily duties include tasks like assisting with meals, assisting with showering and toileting, providing companionship, and attending to the various other needs of our recovering residents. Throughout these tasks, you will partner with licensed nurses, specialty technicians and physicians, as well as an extensive support team comprised of a Director of Nursing, Resident Care Manager, MDS Coordinator, Social Services Coordinator, Activities Coordinator, Infection Preventionists, and Unit Assistants. Schedule Options:  Full-time AM: 6:00am-2:00pm; full-time PM: 2:00pm - 10pm

Wages: Pay is based on experience ranging from $21.00 - $23.00 per hour.

What you’ll need:

• A desire to provide compassionate care, to learn, to grow and to play a significant role on our passionate Meadows of Napa Valley Team.
• Current Certified Nursing Assistant Certification in the state of California is required.
