Senior Helpers is currently seeking a full time Scheduling Coordinator to coordinate caregiver and client care schedules.
Scheduling staff caregivers to client cases, aligning caregiver skill sets, personalities, location and availability with client care plans. Must assure 100% coverage of client schedules and resolve any scheduling issues promptly.
Support for caregiver recruitment, including scheduling interviews, conducting reference checks, running background checks, etc.
Ensuring all required documentation is received upon new hire and updated at annual renewal.
Phone and receptionist support. Ability to greet callers and office visitors in a positive and proper manner.
Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of client, employee and agency information.
Perform general administrative duties, as needed (copying, filing, correspondence).
Participate in rotation for on-call night and weekend phone responsibility.
High school diploma or GED required
Must have experience in scheduling. Experience working in a homecare setting preferred.
Recruitment experience a plus.
Must be outgoing, self-motivated, organized and professional.
Must have competency in using the Internet and Microsoft Office), scheduling software a plus.
Must be able to work independently in a small, professional office environment.
Ability to organize and prioritize workload.
Must be patient and congenial on the telephone, while displaying abilities in customer service.
Must have vehicle, current driver's license, and proof of insurance.
Initiative to complete duties promptly and assist other office staff as needed.
The position requires critical thinking skills and the ability to generate common sense resolutions to daily challenges and opportunities
