At Pegasus we have two different divisions:
Our In-Home Care Division provides caring assistance to a number of clients of differing needs and abilities. In this capacity you would be working one-on-one with an assigned client on a regular schedule. At this time especially, we are looking to hire someone who would be able to drive, and would be available to work weekdays and some weekends. However, we are always looking for good candidates for all of our clients and have a whole range of shifts including:
GENERAL SUMMARY:
The CNA or caregiver we are looking for would be capable of performing a combination of following duties:
Provides assistance with bathing, dressing, toiletry, oral hygiene and other activities of daily living
Prepares meals and does some light housekeeping for the client
Transfers client to and from bed using a Hoyer lift and wheelchair
Takes and records temperature, blood pressure, pulse and respiration rates, food and fluid intake and output and weight, as directed.
Completes all documentation necessary in thorough and timely manner
Other duties as they are assigned.

The other need we are trying to fill is for On-Call Employees willing to take shifts for the Facility Staffing division of Pegasus. We contract out with companies that have over 80 facilities in the Portland metro area. We are in constant need for good caregivers to fill these shifts. Working in this capacity affords our employees flexibility as we provide the shifts and they accept only those ones that fit with their schedule. We have over 300 hours of shifts each week to fill so getting full time hours that work with your schedule should be easy!
GENERAL SUMMARY:
This person will not provide hands-on care for the client (such as feeding and dressing) but will monitor the facility residents while providing companionship and encouragement and make themselves available to the facility staff for support and respite. They may be asked to perform light housekeeping tasks.

PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS
Current CNA license and previous caregiver experience
Experience with seniors and/or adults with mental illness
Has a driver's license and car to get to shifts located throughout the Portland metro area.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Candidate must be able to pass background check and drug test
Candidate must be able to speak/read English and follow directions
