myCNAjobs announces a new partnership with Arrowhead CNA Training. Based in Payson, Utah Arrowhead CNA Training has joined forces with myCNAjobs to participate in the myCNAjobs Scholarship fund to bring more awareness to caregiving as a profession. Arrowhead is extending a full-tuition scholarship to attend CNA classes.
Local resident, Nancy D., has been selected as the scholarship recipient. Nancy was awarded after choosing to take a new path in life within the Payson healthcare community. Having a knack to helping those in need, Nancy previously worked as a substitute teacher for handicapped and mentally disabled children. During that time, Nancy also worked part time as a caregiver before moving closer to her family in Payson.
“We're thrilled to welcome Nancy into our CNA program," says Janet Bergera, owner of Arrowhead CNA Training of Payson. "Our community is in desperate need of qualified certified nursing assistants and Nancy embodies the qualities of a caring, kind, and loving caregiver."
Owner Janet Bergera brings over thirty years of hospital and long-term care experience into CNA training. Understanding the need for qualified front-line staff, Bergera decided to create a local CNA program after completing her master’s degree in nursing education. Monthly CNA training courses are offered by Arrowhead CNA to prepare students for state testing. The use of innovative teaching techniques and partnering with local care facilities has proven successful in high student pass rates and job placement.
"myCNAjobs shares my vision of bringing together quality training and those with a heart for caregiving to serve people in need - the scholarship program helps us do that," adds Bergera.
