National Nursing Assistants Week - Meridian Caregiver & CNA Job Spotlight

As National Nursing Assistants Week approaches, we’re taking a look at one of the premier places for Caregivers and CNAs to work: Meridian Senior Living. We got the chance to sit down with the folks at Meridian to find out what it’s like to work for them and what they’re doing to celebrate National Nursing Assistants Week. National Nursing Assistants Week Festivities

As part of their celebration for Nursing Assistants Week, Meridian has a Selfie Challenge going on in their communities! This allows them to showcase their fantastic Caregivers and all they do by sharing them on their social media pages. Individual communities will also have their own celebrations to recognize the wonderful care their Nursing Assistants provide.

Unique Perks at Meridian

Meridian is a bigger company with all the perks of a being a small company. They specialize in a “Wow!” culture for their staff and residents. They strive for a work life balance to give employees what they need to succeed. With a belief that the care staff is the backbone of their communities, they take care of their employees so their employees can provide the best care to their residents. WOW Program and Meridian Bucks

Meridian has several programs in place for CNA appreciation. One way they celebrate their employees is through their WOW program. The WOW program was put in place to specify the “wow-ing” of employees. Each new employee completes a WOW profile, letting management know their favorite things. This can include things like your favorite restaurant, place to shop, hobbies, and more! By having the employees fill this out, Meridian is able to really know how to WOW them with some of their favorite things. They also have an employee appreciation program where employees can earn Meridian Bucks to put towards all kinds of cool prizes!
