“Ninety-eight percent of home care executives are extremely concerned about recruitment and 61% reported turning down a case due to lack of staff,” says Brandi Kurtyka, CEO of Tampa-based myCNAjobs. "Better understanding market trends and the perspective of a caregiver is a powerful tool in building sound recruitment and retention strategies."
The 2020 Report unveils the stories, faces, and realities of caregivers and provides valuable insight to help leaders better understand how job search is changing and how best to adapt.
"We're operating in an economic climate of historically low unemployment, increasing competition, and the toughest wage pressure we've seen in our data set over the past nine years," adds Kurtyka.
Data was collected across multiple studies including 24 focus group interviews, a survey of 400 home care agencies, and a survey representing millions of caregivers.
