ST. PETERSBURG, FL., July 14,2021: myCNAjobs, the nation’s largest career network of direct care workers, today announced a partnership with TruMont, a leading provider of healthcare curriculum, and certification programs. The program will empower employers to recruit individuals invested in their future that have completed 75 hours of online training on their own time and access a suite of employer tools to complete the certification process, creating a ready-to-work PCA or HHA.
The partnership brings together two leading providers focused on improving the healthcare industry, creating an affordable recruitment and training solution and a pathway to serve the millions of companion caregivers in the myCNAjobs community. Last year, myCNAjobs connected 3.9 million individuals to jobs, hiring events, and training.
“We’re committed to improving the culture of care and coming alongside the industry to continue delivering innovations to enhance recruitment strategies and coach up the next generation of healthcare workers,” says Brandi Kurtyka, CEO of St. Petersburg-based myCNAjobs.
Alongside CE training, powered by Nevvon, caregivers can now access initial care training programs for a small fee. Employer members of myCNAjobs have access to a built-in training support center to complete the certification process and receive ongoing support. Additionally, members can extend a benefit in their community to complete the training for less than $40.
“TruMont’s founders have been dedicated to creating more competent and confident nurses for years, serving over 75 healthcare systems nationwide,” adds Lynn Peoples, Co-Founder of TruMont. “This exclusive partnership is a natural extension of our decades of experience in healthcare training to serve those in the frontlines, ensuring they build a solid foundation out of the gates.”
The program can be used nationwide to create Personal Care Aides (PCAs) and in select states to create Home Health Aides (HHAs). To learn more, visit myCNAjobs.
TruMont was founded in 2018 and is one of the first multi-state initial healthcare training and apprenticeship programs in the country.
